Your location stays yours

Nobody is ever shown your exact position. 8hues places you at a random point inside a circle you control — anywhere from 250 feet to 13 miles wide — and that point stays put while you do, so no one can watch it drift and work out where you really are. Your own map shows your true position; theirs never does.

What it costs

Nothing. There is no payment processor connected to 8hues and no card details are collected. Messaging, video rooms, reading receipts, incognito browsing and changing your location are all simply on.
